Erik Hanberg Visit

Erik Hanberg is a warmhearted multi-talented person. I first met him in my entrepreneurship class at Washington State University. That day he is the guest speaker of our class and he had a speech about how to raise money and marketing strategies. His presentation made me think more about making a business and the way it will grow up in the future. During the speech, I already know that he is a good speaker with the presentation skill, the way he communicates and his eye contact. Digging a bit about him on Google, I found that he is the author of three books: The Little Book of Gold, The Little Book of Likes, and The Little Book of Boards for the non-profit organization to raise capital. He is also a director that explains the performing skills and audience control during his speech. Although, he gave out a lot of incredibly brilliant marketing tactics. But I would like to state the tactic that I found most interesting. It is called a high expectations. For instance, there is a commer

John Dimmer Visit

John Dimmer is one of the guest speakers that I can forget about his sense of humor. Dimmer is truly an entrepreneur who has founded many companies and is specialized in debt financing. He guides me on how to manage and calculate the spending of a start-up company. Then he teaches me that when I borrow money to start a company.  I should prioritize secure sources like banks and the government first. Then angel investors, investors, friends, and family are the follow-up sources. I really learned the first step of starting a company, what to do and how to do it from him. There is one thing about him that I am learning a lot from is the importance of supporter. “If you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together" (African Proverb). Most business is not a monopoly so it is important for a business to have supporters. For a business, to grow substantially supporters and connections are necessary. There are many kinds of benefits the supporter can bring to the business

His company is the most successful out of all the guest speakers so far. CloudPWR was the frontier in cloud technology and is a pioneer in next-gen platform growth, business systems integration and LLC technology. From his great presentation, he demonstrated the logical way he manages his company. Unlike other website companies that provide what customers want. His company chooses to provide them what they need and that had a significant impact on the business that chose his company. Consequently, His reputation is raised as one of the most efficient solution sellers. I learn from him how to maintain and lead a company in an effective way, the leadership of how to connect people in the company and create a comfortable in the company. He stated that the working environment is very important f

The truth is I have missed the visit of Matthew Tolentino... I very regret at that time because not able to listen to his experience.
